Welcome to The osQuantum Project
The osQuantum Project initially came about as the result of the then lack of development of the osCommerce Project.
Since the inception of osQuantum there has been some development of osCommerce, but it remains our aim to provide a new shopping cart built to the most modern practices using a Model/View/Controller (MVC) Architecture and Object Orientated Programming utilising PHP.
osQuantum will be made available for free as an Open Source based solution released under the GNU General Public License.
It was originally our intention to release the 1st Alpha version of osQuantum in January, 2010, but obviously we have not been able to keep to this timetable. Nevertheless, as soon as we are able to, we will begin releasing code to the community so that they can become aware of the progress being made.
